Elementary School

Our elementary program lays the foundation for our students to carry out their SJS mission: to become who God made us to be, through an ever-deepening relationship with Christ, by growing in character, loving our neighbor, and excelling in academics.

We do not use common core but rather the AOD Learning Standards, which are a faith-based and more rigorous take on Common Core and the Next Generation Science Standards. While academics are always a primary focus, we teach the whole child, nurturing their faith life, their social-emotional growth, and their personal character. We utilize programs such as Leader in Me, Conscious Discipline, and Dynamic Catholic’s Blessed Sacrament Prep Series.
